Harpenden is a well-connected commuter town, so it’s incredibly accessible from central London and beyond. The town has its own train station, which is served by Thameslink on a frequent and fast rail link through central London.

If you’re visiting us by road, the M1 runs nearby, with the closest aces being to take Junction 9 at Redbourn and Dunstable, or Junction 10 for Luton and the airport.

A number of buses also pass through Harpenden, with five main frequent and reliable routes. Or, if you’re feeling more active, the National Cycle Network also runs through the town.

Just a stone’s throw away from Harpenden, the historic city of St Albans offers a whole host of attractions, including St Albans Cathedral, the Verulamium Museum, and the Roman Mosaic.
